HU & UUM Sign Memorandum of Understanding

In the context of their visit to Malaysia, Hadhramout University (HU) delegation headed by its Rector, Prof. Mohamed Saeed Kanbash, visited University Utara Malaysia (UUM) on April 16, 2019. The visit culminated in the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the two universities to pursue avenues of collaboration that will benefit both. In addition, to establish fruitful partnership in various areas including scientific research, organizing international conferences, exchange of scientific experiences, students' traineeships, and conducting joint research between the scientific centers of both universities. Prof. Kanbash expressed his deep gratitude to UUM leadership and academic faculty members for the cordial reception and hospitality. "We stress on the deep interest of our University to benefit from UUM recognized experiences particularly in the administrative sciences." he added. Prof. Ahmed Bashwir, UUM Rector, welcomed this agreement that opens new vistas of joint cooperation in the academic field, development of university curriculum, student traineeship and exchange of experiences.
