The seventh scientific conference events for Hadhramout University students were inaugurated at Ali Ahmed Bakatheer hall in the University Presidency – Mukalla, as part of the the second scientific research week events. It lasted for three days under the slogan “University Students in the Service of Development”.
During the inauguration of the conference, Prof. Salem Muhammad Bin Salman; Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs, indicated that this conference comes from the Student Affairs deputyship interest towards the graduation research; because of its scientific, social and economic importance. He called on the participated students in the conference to be a good model that Hadhramout University is proud of, based on the slogan of the conference entitled “University Students in the Service of Development”. Moreover, he thanked everyone who contributed in organizing and coordinating the events of this seventh scientific conference for the academic year 2022.
The conference included a number of main themes in the field of “natural and applied sciences, humanities and social sciences,” which includes a range of scientific researches in medicine and health sciences, engineering, literature, education, and other specializations.
The inauguration was attended by Prof. Abdullah Saleh Babair; Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Salem Mubarak Al Obathani; Vice President for Student Affairs, Dr. Khalid Awadh Al-Rubaki; Chairman of the Conference Committee, a number of deans and their deputies, staff members, and university students.
