In the presence of Prof. Mohammed Saeed Khanbesh, President of the University, Prof. Abdullah Saleh Babair Vice-President for Academic Affairs and Prof. Salem Mohammed bin Salman, Assistant Vice-president for Student Affairs, Eng. Wasim Omar Rabihan General Secretary of the Society for the Welfare of the Student of Science s Projects Manager, a memorandum of understanding and partnership was signed between Hadhramout University and the Student Welfare Association to implement a number of projects serving the University and its students and to achieve common objectives that contribute to the service of education and development.
The agreement was signed by the University of Hadhramaut, Prof. Salem Mubarak Al-Obthani, Vice President for Student Affairs, and by the Student Welfare Society, Mr. Ahmed Zain Bahmid, President of the Society.
At the beginning of the meeting, President of the University, welcomed this partnership, which came to implement a number of educational projects and praised the role of the Science Student Welfare Society in its implementation and its interventions in many projects that serve the university, whether in the academic aspect and scientific research or in the construction aspects.
Mr. Ahmed Zain Bahmid, President of the Association, said that this partnership with the University was an extension of previous partnerships, stressing that the goal of this Memorandum of Understanding is to provide a framework for cooperation in areas of interest and common goals between the Association and the University.
In his turn, Eng. Wasim Omar Rabihan, General Secretary of the Association, reviewed a number of projects that the Association has worked to market, and will implement according to this memorandum of understanding, thanking the University Presidency for its ongoing cooperation with the Association, and the facilities it provides to implement its projects within the University.
Also, Prof. Salem Mubarak Al-Abthani, gave a detailed explanation of the aspects of cooperation that should take place between the university and the association, as a number of aspects were discussed through which work can be done urgently and continuously to reach tangible results in the field of fruitful cooperation in the interest of students And strengthening the university’s relations with the association, in order to achieve the desired goals.
