Mr. Mabkhot Mubarak Bin Madi; Hadhramout Governor along with Prof. Muhammad Saeed Khanbash; HU president laid the foundation stone of a multi- purpose hall at the faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. It was financed by the country of United Arab Emirates and implemented by Royal Clock Company. In addition, they laid the foundation stone of artesian wells project to provide water for the faculty students who are living in Fluk dormitory and are more than 600 student.
Dr. Samir Ba-Othman; Dean of the Medicine and Health Science Faculty explained the components of the project which is situated on about 756 square meters. In addition to a big meeting hall of about 636 persons and 4 administrative offices with its facilities.
Furthermore, they checked on the progress of the project in building a medical center on the campus which will provide the students who are living in the dormitory and the other people there with medical services. It was financed by the country of Kuwait under the supervision of Sheikh Abdullah Al Nouri Charity Society there and implemented by Student Care Association.
At the end Hadhramout governor expressed his thanks and appreciation to the country of United Arab Emirates and the country of Kuwait for their sponsorship to implement such projects.
