Hadhramout University participates in the World Conference "IAESTE JUMP 2021 ", that organized by the Organization's Office in the United States, August 26-28, which is primarily concerned with the employment of science and technology in the face of climate change. It includes a variety of scientific and cultural events and activities in which specialized experts and professors, as well as many people with volunteer expertise, officials of the United States Department of Agriculture and analysts. The conference also includes some cultural and recreational events.
The conference was attended by director and members of the organization's office at the university, and a number of interested university students from the colleges of medicine, engineering and computers were invited as an opportunity to get acquainted closely with the organization's activity and discuss the training grants it offers to students in various disciplines to different countries of the world in addition to distance training. The mechanisms of applying for grants and joining the various activities that it organizes throughout the year for students and graduates alike were also discussed.
Dr. Saleh Albatati, Director of the Organization's Centre, confirmed that this conference is an annual event aimed to discuss globally important issues to which the management of the Centre has intended this time to invite a number of students as samples from the various colleges of the University in order to learn about their activity and to convey the real image of activity to their colleagues for the beginning of an upcoming year in which the Centre opens its doors to accommodate students from the various faculties of the University to join the Centre and draw on the Organization's important training experiences. He thanked the leadership of the University and the Student Affairs Department for their support to the Centre and for ensuring the training of University students abroad through the Centre or internally through other relevant University centers.
