The 8th Scientific Conference of Hadhramout University Students, held under the slogan, “Students of the University in the Service of Development,” was concluded at the University Presidency as part of the 30th anniversary of the university’s foundation, which lasted for four days.
Dr. Khalid Awadh Al-Rabaki; Chairman of the Scientific Conference Committee for University Students, noted that this year the conference coincides with the celebrations of the University’s 30th anniversary and University Student Week. He added that this scientific conference of HU students continues for the eighth consecutive time to highlight students’ research in various fields that serves the social development. He expressed his thanks and appreciation to the University Presidency for their efforts in this scientific conference, as well as the members of the conference committees a members, and all those who contributed to the success of its scientific events.
The conference discussed a number of main points in natural and applied sciences, humanities and social sciences, for graduation research of HU students.
In conclusion, Prof. Salem Mubarak Al-Obathani; Vice President for Student Affairs, Prof. Salem Muhammad bin Salman; Assistant Vice President for the Student affairs Prof. Khalid Awadh Al-Rabaki; Chairman of the Conference Committee, honored the students participating in the Conference and handed them certificates.
The closing Ceremony of the conference was attended by deans of faculties and their deputies, heads of scientific departments, a number of staff members, and university students.
