The meeting minutes of joining the faculties that affiliated to Hadhramout University in Al-Mahra Governorate to Al-Mahra University were signed, based on Republican Decree No. 23 of 2023 regarding the establishment of Al-Mahrah University. In addition to the resolution of the Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister No. 8 of 2023 regarding the formation of a main committee to include the faculties and assets of Hadhramout University, which are located within the geographical borders of Al-Mahra Governorate, to Al-Mahra University.
Dr.Muhammad Saeed Khanbash; President of Hadhramout University, received last week, Dr. Anwer Kalshat; President of Al-Mahra University, and a number of university leaders. The preparation of documents were conducted which related to the separation of university faculties in Al-Mahra, which were affiliated with Hadhramout University, similar to what was done between Hadhramout University and Seiyun University when it was established. The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Abdullah Saleh Babair; Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Salem Mubarak Al-Obthani; Vice President for Student Affairs, Prof. Hadi Salem Al-Sabban; Acting Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Mr. Abdullah Alawi Aideed; General Secretary of the University, Mr. Omar Hassan Bin Hula; Assistant Secretary-General of Hadhramout University.
