Prof. Muhammad Saeed Khanbash, President of Hadhramout University expressed his gladness of the inauguration of the Al-Alabed Alhadi Mosque in Al-Galilah Colleges Complex on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, the 16th of Shaban 1444. The inauguration was started after the prayer with verses from Holy Quran, praying to those who contributed to the building of the mosque.
Mr. Saleh Bagalagel delivered a speech on behalf of the Estijabah Foundation for Humanitarian Aid, a Project Executing Agency. He thanked the family of Al-Alabed Al-Hadi from Kuwait for their finance to this mosque, in addition to the leadership of Hadhramout University.
In his speech, Prof. Muhammad Saeed Khanbash praised the support offered by Kuwait and Estijabah Foundation for Humanitarian Aid, congratulating the students and parents benefiting from this project. He pointed out that the University has contributed to this project to alleviate people suffering, in line with the University’s vision of serving the community.
The mosque was built on approximately 400 square meters of land, including the mosque building, the lighthouse, the women’s mosque, and the toilets. The inauguration was attended by Prof. Salem Mubarak Al-Obathani, Vice President of the University for Student Affairs, Dr. Salem bin Salman, Assistant Professor, Deans of the faculties at Al-Ghalila Complex, Prof. Ahmed Al-Saadi, General Director of Endowments and Guidance Office, Mr. Saleh Awadh Bagalagel, Public Relations Officer of Estijabah Foundation for Humanitarian Aid, and many people.
