The fifth scientific conference on humanities and social sciences, held as part of the 3rd Scientific Research Week at Hadhramout University, was concluded in the presence of the university president in Ali Ahmed Bakatheer Hall. It is held under the patronage of Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council.
Prof. Hadi Salem Al-Sabban, the Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all the researchers participating in the conference for their efforts in presenting diverse scientific research according to their specializations. He praised the efforts of the conference’s scientific committee and the arbitration committees that contributed to conference.
Prof. Salem Basraih, the Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the fifth scientific conference on humanities and social sciences at the university, pointed out that the conference is held under the slogan “Current Trends in Humanities and Social Sciences for Community Service in line with the university’s policy of developing scientific research and its keenness to ensure the continuity and regularity of scientific conferences in various fields by focusing on annual scientific weeks. He confirmed that seventy-one scientific papers were examined. Twenty-five Papers were from Hadhramout University, while the rest were from universities in Aden, Seiyun, Al-Wasatiah, Al-Mahra, Saba, Hajjah, Ibb, the Higher Training and Rehabilitation Institute in Sana’a, and Al-Qassim University in Saudi Arabia.
The conference discussed several topics and research papers in humanities and social sciences presented by specialized professors over two days.
