The 2nd Scientific Symposium entitled ” Multidisciplinary Research Studies: Economy and Sustainable Development between Present and Future (ISMRS-2023) was held with the participation of Malaysian and Indonesian universities. It occurred within the Third Scientific Research Week activities at Hadhramout University to activate the agreements with international universities.
Prof. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash, the President of Hadhramout University, indicated that this symposium is a partnership between Hadhramout University, the Energy University, the International University in Malaysia, and Syiah Kuala University in Indonesia. He pointed out that the university is proud of its achievements in the academic, research, postgraduate studies, and student affairs fields, especially during difficult circumstances facing our country, in addition to organizing the annual Scientific Research Week at the university. It enhances its research and academic aspects and contributes to its international ranking.
The symposium discussed several topics in the field of economy and sustainable development between the present and future, such as economic transformations towards sustainable development, the relationship between intellectual property rights efficiency and sustainable growth of companies, the role of entrepreneurship education in the information technology industry in Hadhramout, and other related information presented by specialists and researchers from Hadhramout University and Malaysian and Indonesian universities.
