Prof. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash, the President of Hadhramout University, checked on the progress of the mid-term examinations for the first semester of the Academic Year 2023-2024 in various specializations at the Education Faculty in Socotra.
During the visit, the university president listened closely to the student’s main challenges during their university studies, emphasizing the university’s commitment to enhancing higher education in Socotra and providing various forms of support for its development in the coming period. He praised the regularity of the study process at the Education Faculty in Socotra under the current circumstances, commending the efforts of the deanship and their dedication to improving academic and scientific performance in all scientific specializations at the faculty.
In the same context, the President of Hadhramout University held an extensive meeting with the deanship, staff, and assistant of the Education Faculty in Socotra, aiming to observe their conditions and the problems, difficulties, and challenges affecting their work. The meeting also aimed to discuss proposals and solutions.
The university president directed the deanship to address some problems and find solutions. He also promised to raise any issues that fall under the authority of the local administration in the Socotra Archipelago to the governor during his meeting to contribute to the development and improvement of the outcomes of the faculty in Socotra in the upcoming period.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Abdullah Alawi Eidid, the Secretary-General of Hadhramout University, and Mr. Hussein Baslaib, the General Director of the University President’s Office.
