HU Holds A Ceremony to Inaugurate The Technical Club for Its Students Under the Patronage of HU President

Under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash, President of Hadhramout University, and under the supervision of the Student Affairs Deputyship, the inauguration ceremony for the Technical Club took place at the discussion hall of the Computers and Information Technology Faculty.

The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech from the club chair, Mr. Hassan Al-Shabibi, about the club’s objectives and vision. He emphasized the importance of the club in developing technical knowledge among students and highlighted that the membership is open to all university students with an interest in technology, regardless of their specializations.

In his speech, Dr. Salem bin Salman, Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs, expressed his support and readiness, along with the Student Affairs Deputyship represented by the Vice President for Student Affairs, Prof. Salem Mubarak Al-Obathani, to provide the necessary facilities and ensure the effective and sustainable achievement of the club’s objectives for the benefit of the university students.

The ceremony featured interactive corners with various activities and informative sections showcasing the club’s centers, providing an overview of the club’s goals and upcoming activities.

The event was attended by the Dean of the Computers and Information Technology Faculty, Professor Raed Batahan, and Dr. Wafa Al-Daini, the Deputy Dean, Dr. Naziha Al-Aidrous, the head of the Training and Rehabilitation Center at Hadhramout University, Mr. Ibrahim Bin Thabit, the Executive Director of Nahd Foundation, and Mr. Saeed Omar Al-Obathani, Deputy General Manager of Premium Academy for Leadership and Management. The ceremony was also attended by students, engineers, staff members, and was hosted by the talented presenter, Abdulrahman Al-Rabae.
