Prof. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash, President of Hadhramout University, met in his office at the University Presidency with Engineer Awadh Ahmed bin Hamel, the Executive Director of the Responsiveness Foundation for Relief and Development in Hadhramout.
The meeting discussed areas of cooperation between the University and the Foundation in the scientific and research fields within the framework of the University’s partnership with civil society organizations, contributing to serving university education, scientific research, and other fields.
Prof. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash expressed the University’s readiness to cooperate with the Responsiveness Foundation for Relief and Development in Hadhramout in various scientific and research fields in the coming period.
At the end of the meeting, the Executive Director of the Foundation, Engineer Awadh Ahmed bin Hamel, presented a set of publications from the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) as a gift to Hadhramout University titled Disaster Risk Reduction and Community-Based Early Floods Warning System in Fragile Communities, Training Guide for Water User Associations and Groups on Water-Related Conflicts, and Training Guide for Water User Associations and Groups on Administrative and Institutional Aspects, among others.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Khaled Awadh Al-Rubaki, Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences and Marine Biology at Hadhramout University.
