The Selah Development Foundation met with the presidents of Hadhramout University, represented by Prof. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash and Vice President for Student Affairs Dr. Salem Mubarak Al-Obathani, and Seiyun University, represented by Dr. Mohammed Ashour Al-Kathiri. This meeting occurred within a deep belief in the university responsibility towards youth and ensuring they have access to decent job opportunities to empower them in the face of deteriorating economic conditions, which have led to high unemployment rates and limited employment opportunities,.
The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the graduate empowerment intervention within the “My Profession in Hand” program and to assist graduates in transitioning from job seekers to job creators, ensuring a sustainable income for them. This will enable them to become pillars of development and sources of inspiring and sustainable solutions.
