Prof. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash, President of Hadhramout University, met in his office at the university presidency with Dr. Anas Bu Helal, Higher Education and Technical Programs Specialist at the UNESCO Regional Office for the Arab States of the Gulf in Qatar, as part of the preparations to establish an effective partnership with UNESCO.
During the meeting, HU President presented a brief overview of the university and its colleges since its inception, the specializations that distinguish the university, and its interest in the education of girls, as well as the university’s goals, mission, and achievements locally, regionally, and internationally. He also reviewed some of the scientific and international conferences and activities that the university has implemented in partnership with a number of international and global universities.
From his part, Dr. Anas Bu Helal expressed his thanks and appreciation to Hadhramout University for the warm welcome and hospitality, praising the excellence of Hadhramout University in some specializations and colleges and its interest in the education of girls, as well as its scientific and research achievements. He expressed their readiness to cooperate with Hadhramout University in various fields in the coming period.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Salem Faraj Bamsoud, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, and Mr. Abdullah Alwai Eidid, Secretary-General of the University.
