The Higher Education Ministry, Scientific Research, Technical Education, and Vocational Training has launched competitive exams for cultural exchange scholarships for the academic year 2024-2025 at the Fuwa Faculties Complex at Hadhramout University.
During the inauguration, Prof. Salem Mubarek Al Obthani, University Vice President for Students Affairs, Prof.Mohammed Awadh Barshead, the Faculty of Arts Dean, and Dr. Atef Al-Tamimi, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Arts for Student Affairs, toured the examination halls to observe the process. They encouraged the students to put in more effort and focus on answering the questions on the same paper.
Prof. Salem Mubarek Al Obthani expressed his happiness at the inauguration of the competitive exams for government scholarships hosted by Hadhramout University. He emphasized that the university has made significant efforts to create a conducive environment for the students and to provide all necessary requirements for the success of the examination process. He thanked the Higher Education Ministry and Scientific Research, represented by Minister Prof. Khaled Ahmed Al-Wasabi and Dr. Mazen Al-Jefri, Deputy Minister for Scholarships, for approving Hadhramout University as an examination center for these external scholarships.
In turn, Mr. Ahmed Rabie Hadi, the representative of the Ministry of Higher Education, confirmed that approximately 135 students participated in the competitive exams for cultural exchange scholarships, distributed across four examination halls. He noted that the exams would be graded electronically, relying on both high school grades and competitive exam scores. He mentioned that the scholarship results would be announced later based on the exam results. He expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Hadhramout University for creating a conducive environment for these exams and wished the students success.
