The committee for evaluating the data of universities participating in the 2024 national ranking (first edition) from the Higher Education Ministry,headed by Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sabri, a member of the Higher Committee, along with Dr. Amin Al-Matari, Director General of Human Resources, and Mr. Jalal Al-Hashimi, Director General of Financial Affairs, conducted an official visit to Hadhramout University in Mukalla. They were welcomed by Prof. Dr. Salem Mubarak Al-Obthani, Vice President for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Salem Faraj Bamsaud, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Khaled Awadh Alrubaki, Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Bamatraf, and Dr. Lutfi Bin Dahman, members of the university’s evaluation committee.
During the visit, the ministerial committee held a meeting with Hadhramout University leadership to review the progress of academic and scientific activities and programs implemented by the university. Furthermore, they sought to validate the accuracy of the data submitted by the university to the ministry via the designated platform, as well as to evaluate the public opinion contributions and beneficiaries of the university’s services.
Subsequently, the ministerial committee, accompanied by vice presidents of Hadhramout University and their delegation, visited the Student Training Center and the Central Hall at the Student Affairs Office. They reviewed the procedures for student services, particularly the streamlined process of issuing graduation certificates in a timely manner. As part of their assessment, they will also engage with employers and students to evaluate their satisfaction and gather essential data required for the ministerial evaluation process.
