A Memorandum of Understanding was signed at Hadhramout University Presidency between the university’s Center for Renewable Energy Studies and Research and the Integrated Solutions Company for Solar Energy Systems. The signing took place in the presence of Prof. Abdullah Saleh Babair, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Hadhramout University.
The memorandum was signed by Prof. Abdullah Ahmed Baradi, Director of the Center for Renewable Energy Studies and Research, and Mr. Mohammed Mahrous Baqdeem, General Manager of Integrated Solutions Company for Solar Energy Systems. It was officially endorsed by Hadhramout University Vice President, Prof. Abdullah Saleh Babair.
The memorandum aims to strengthen joint cooperation between both parties and utilize scientific expertise across various fields. It seeks to enhance research studies in alternative and renewable energy technologies, benefiting the public and private sectors as well as rural communities. Furthermore, the memorandum promotes the exchange of ideas, perspectives, and expertise, acknowledging the increasing global significance of renewable energy. Additionally, it contributes to promoting a culture of engagement with renewable energy projects and other areas of mutual cooperation.
This memorandum falls within the framework of partnership and coordinated efforts between Hadhramout University, civil society organizations, private sector companies, and institutions to serve the community through the implementation of tangible projects on the ground.
