The Tenth Scientific Conference for Hadhramout University Students concluded at Ali Ahmed Bakathir Hall at the university’s headquarters. Held under the slogan “University Students in Service of Development,” the conference was part of the 14th University Student Week 2025 at Hadhramout University and lasted for three days. The event took place under the patronage of Mr. Mabkhout Mubarak Bin Madi, Hadhramout Governor, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash, Hadhramout University President.
Prof. Dr.Khaled Awadh Alrubaki, Chairman of the Scientific Committee, emphasized that this tenth edition achieved remarkable success and active participation, with 450 research papers submitted from various faculties. He highlighted that this conference distinguishes Hadhramout University from other Yemeni universities, as students have the opportunity to present their research and graduation projects, all aimed at community service and development. He expressed his gratitude to the university administration for its efforts in sustaining this scientific student conference and extended his appreciation to the judging panels, committee members, and everyone who contributed to its success.
The conference covered several key topics in natural and applied sciences, humanities, and social sciences, with a particular focus on the graduation research of Hadhramout University students.
At the closing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Salem Mubarak Al-Obthani, Vice President for Student Affairs; Prof. Dr. Salem Muhammad Bin Salman, Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs; and Prof. Dr. Khaled Awadh Alrubaki , Chairman of the Scientific Committee, honored the participating students and presented them with certificates.
The event was attended by faculty deans, vice deans, heads of scientific departments, faculty members, and numerous university students.
