The Hadhramout University delegation, led by Prof. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash, has arrived in the Russian capital, Moscow, as part of its participation in the activities of “Hadhramout Week in the Russian Federation.”
Upon arrival, the delegation immediately began preparations and logistical arrangements at Moscow State University in anticipation of the launch of the Hadhramout Exhibition, scheduled to open the day after tomorrow, Monday.
This exhibition marks the culmination of a series of significant events carried out by the delegation during “Hadhramout Week in the Russian Federation.” Previously, a similar exhibition was held in the Chechen capital, Grozny, where it received widespread acclaim.
The delegation also actively participated in the economic exhibition held in Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan. During these events, several important agreements were signed to strengthen cooperation and partnerships between Hadhramout University and academic and economic institutions in the Russian republics.
“Hadhramout Week in Russia” aims to showcase the rich cultural and civilizational heritage of Hadhramout Governorate, highlight its investment and economic opportunities, and promote academic and cultural exchange between Hadhramout and the Russian Federation.
The exhibition at Moscow State University will feature a variety of events, including introductory lectures on the history and civilization of Hadhramout, screenings of documentary films highlighting different aspects of life in the governorate, as well as visual presentations and informational publications.
The activities of “Hadhramout Week in the Russian Federation” are generously sponsored by the Governor of Hadhramout, Mr. Mabkhout bin Madi, who places special emphasis on enhancing Hadhramout’s international presence and building bridges of communication and cooperation with countries around the world.
This week represents an important step toward strengthening relations between Hadhramout and Russia across various fields and opening new horizons for cultural, academic, and economic cooperation that will benefit both sides.
