Prof. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash, President of Hadhramout University, accompanied by Prof. Salem Faraj Bamsaud, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, inaugurated the admission placement exams for the 2025–2026 academic year for master’s and doctoral programs across various faculties of the university. The inauguration took place in the Ali Ahmed Bakatheer Hall at the university’s main campus.
More than 256 male and female applicants are competing for academic seats in 37 master’s programs and 8 doctoral programs offered by the university’s faculties. Notably, several new master’s programs have been introduced in the fields of Private Law, Accounting, and Mathematics.
Prof. Salem Faraj Bamsaud emphasized that the introduction of these new master’s programs is part of the Office of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research’s strategic plan to expand and develop academic and scientific offerings at Hadhramout University. He encouraged applicants to exert maximum effort and dedication to secure admission into their desired specializations, wishing them success in their pursuit of higher education at the university.
The inauguration was attended by Dr. Kamal Baoum, Head of the Examination Committee, and Mr. Yasser Baabad, Director General of Admissions and Registration at the Office of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research at Hadhramout University.
