On Thursday, July 17, 2025, Hadhramout University participated in the regular virtual meeting of the partners of the Yemeni Higher Education Leadership for Development (YHELD) project, held via Zoom.
During the meeting, participants reviewed surveys related to the internationalization of scientific research and e-learning, as well as the level of engagement from Yemeni universities involved in the project. The meeting also addressed the latest updates concerning the remaining training sessions and the mechanisms for their implementation.
The session featured a variety of contributions from representatives of Yemeni universities and European partner institutions, discussing the challenges and opportunities for strengthening international relations within Yemeni higher education institutions in collaboration with European partners.
Representing Hadhramout University at the meeting were:

- Lutfi Saeed Bin Dahman, Director of the International Cooperation and University Ranking Center
- Mohammed Abdullah Bamataraf, Director of the Information Technology Center
- Suhair Ali Al-Hadhrami, Director of the International Cooperation Department
- Saeed Abdulqader Al-Amoudi, Director of the University Ranking Department.
