Hadhramout University has received 19 research papers from Arab and international scholars, in addition to 7 papers submitted by Yemeni researchers. Participants represent universities from Malaysia, Egypt, Indonesia, Oman, Algeria, Jordan, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Brunei Darussalam, and Yemen, taking part in the Fourth International Scientific Research Week organized by the university.
During a meeting held on Monday, November 17, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash, President of Hadhramout University, stated that the activities of the Fourth International Scientific Research Week will officially commence next Monday, November 24, with an opening ceremony expected to be attended by the Governor of Hadhramout, Mr. Mabkhout Mubarak Bin Madi, along with several local authority leaders and specialists.
He noted that the event will include the signing of partnership agreements with several scientific institutions in Asian countries to support and enhance the university’s academic and research development. He added:
“A documentary film highlighting a pivotal stage in the university’s history, along with a booklet detailing the activities of the Fourth Scientific Research Week, has been prepared for distribution during the event. All preparations have been completed by the committee heads, whom I extend my thanks to for their efforts in ensuring that the activities project a positive and honorable image of Hadhramout and Yemen.”
The week’s program will feature five scientific seminars overseen by experts from Hadhramout University in the fields of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies, Medicine, Media, Science, and Engineering.
