Sharing Their Joy: Voices of Honored Graduates

Hadhramout University recently organized the graduation ceremony for its 27th cohort of Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degree holders across all disciplines for the year 2025. The event was attended by the Governor of Hadhramout, Mr. Salem Ahmed Al-Khanbashi, University President Prof. Dr. Mohammed Saeed Khanbash, members of the Shura Council, and the Secretary-General of the Local Council.

To share in the graduates’ joy, we spoke with several of them. Here is what they said:

“My graduation from Hadhramout University marks the beginning of a new chapter in my life. I will work diligently to achieve my goals and start a new journey. It was an enjoyable and enriching educational experience that helped me develop my personality and acquire knowledge.”

Azhar Rashid, a top graduate from the Department of Media, College of Arts and Humanities, expressed her feelings:
“Graduation, for me, is the culmination of four years of effort,” she said, emphasizing that the moments of hard work, research, and study shaped her into a stronger person.

She added:
“Achieving first place was not just a result; it is gratitude for every step I took and every challenge I overcame. I dedicate this achievement to my family, loved ones, colleagues, and professors throughout my academic journey.”

“It is a great honor that I deeply cherish, and it reflects the university’s commitment to supporting its outstanding students. This recognition has given me even greater motivation to continue and grow. My heartfelt thanks to Hadhramout University, our esteemed professors, and everyone who was part of this journey.
