Hadhramout University today concludes its Fourth International Scientific Research Week with the international symposium titled “International Scientific Publishing: Strategies for Success, Tools and Methodology, and Current Challenges.” The symposium, featuring distinguished academics from Oman, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Syria, and Yemen, provides a comprehensive guide for researchers—from selecting a topic and writing a research proposal to contracting with reputable publishing houses and mastering academic writing skills in English. The aim is to strengthen the global presence of Yemeni researchers and highlight their intellectual contributions on the international research map.

Throughout the week, the university’s halls and auditoriums witnessed vibrant international academic activity, during which 19 researchers from Brunei, Indonesia, Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Syria, and other Asian and African countries presented a series of scientific papers. Discussions covered topics such as “Clean Energy Technologies: Scientific Prospects for Non-Traditional Sources,” “Asthma Updates: Latest Guidelines and Clinical Applications in Healthcare,” “Journalistic Practices in the Era of Technological Advancement,” and the symposium on “Arabic Language and Sharia Sciences: Functional Integration and Contemporary Challenges.”

As part of this week’s activities, the university signed a new partnership agreement with University Brunei Darussalam, reflecting its commitment to expanding academic and research collaboration and building bridges of knowledge with global institutions.

This major event crowns the university’s efforts to enhance an applied research environment and exchange expertise with higher education institutions locally and internationally.
