The activities of Academic Development Week are currently ongoing at Hadhramout University.
The event commenced with an address by the University President, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash, who highlighted the richness of this week’s activities aimed at elevating the University’s status and positioning it among leading Arab universities. He emphasized that the University has maintained its position within the QS Arab Region Rankings and is working to develop improvement mechanisms.
Following that, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Bahashwan, Director of the Academic Development Center, delivered a speech underscoring the importance of this week for its role in advancing the educational process at the University, urging all participants to engage actively and benefit from the sessions.
Subsequently, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Saleh Babair, presented his paper titled “Academic Affairs Regulations,” in which he discussed promotion procedures and steps in accordance with the governing regulations and laws that guide the University. He also addressed the rights and responsibilities of staff and faculty members, as well as the challenges they face due to the country’s current circumstances.
Regarding student affairs regulations, the Vice President for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Salem Mubarak Al-Obathani, will deliver his intervention titled “Student Affairs Regulations,” focusing on students’ rights and obligations and mechanisms for managing operations.
Later, Prof. Dr. Salem Faraj Bamsoud will present his intervention on Postgraduate Studies Regulations.
