Hadhramout University signed today a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Joint Cooperation with the Hadhramout Health Organization at the University Presidency Office. The memorandum was signed by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Khanbash, Hadhramout University President, and Dr. Waleed Awadh Bakhreesa, Executive Director of the Hadhramout Health Organization.

The memorandum aims to strengthen cooperation between the two parties, particularly in the implementation of health programs; the design and execution of awareness campaigns; the production of health-related media materials; support for health activities inside and outside the university; training and capacity building; the organization of specialized workshops and training programs; the engagement of academic staff in health development initiatives; participation in community health research; and the organization of joint health conferences and scientific events. The agreement aims to foster a strategic partnership in both the health and academic sectors, supporting programs and initiatives that benefit the community and promote health awareness, as well as other areas of mutual cooperation.
This memorandum comes within the framework of the university’s integrated partnership with civil society organizations and supporting entities, contributing to the development and advancement of educational, academic, scientific, and research processes.

The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Saleh Bahoul, Dean of Medicine and Health Sciences Faculty; Prof. Dr. Abdullah Al-Hinshi, Dean of the Nursing Faculty; Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Hassan, Vice Dean of the Medicine and Health Sciences Faculty for Quality, Development, and Community Service; Dr. Haddad Al-Habshi, Director of Public Relations; and Ms. Taqwa Abdulhakim Al-Nahdi, Executive Secretary of the Hadhramout Health Organization.
