The Arabic language program for non-native speakers, designed for students from East Asian universities, is set to commence tomorrow under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Khanbash, Hadhramout University President, and under the supervision and implementation of the Faculty of Languages during the blessed month of Ramadan.

This program comes within the framework of academic partnership agreements signed between Hadhramout University and universities in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Brunei Darussalam, to strengthen scientific and cultural cooperation and expand Arabic language education for non-native speakers through modern and effective methodologies.
The program includes enrollment in an Arabic language course, delivered by the Faculty of Languages, and its implementation throughout Ramadan, with consideration of linguistic, cultural, and spiritual dimensions. Approximately 150 trainees are distributed into interactive learning groups according to their language proficiency levels.

According to the Faculty Dean of Languages, Dr. Salem Bin Nashi, the program aims to enhance academic partnerships, support the systematic teaching of Arabic, and strengthen ties among higher education institutions. He added that this initiative contributes to reinforcing mutual cooperation, with aspirations to sustain and expand such programs in the future.
