A meeting was held this morning at the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs at Hadhramout University, bringing together Prof. Dr. Salem bin Salman, Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs; Mr. Mohsen Bayousef, representative of the Media Sack Foundation for Media and Development; and Mr. Mohammed Baqi, President of the University Media Club.
The meeting focused on discussing prospects for cooperation and exploring ways to activate a partnership between the university and the foundation through the implementation of specialized media projects and programs. These initiatives aim to refine students’ skills and develop their creative capacities in line with the evolving demands of the media labor market.
During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Bin Salman emphasized the university leadership’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with specialized civil society organizations. He praised the role played by Media Sack in supporting the media sector and expressed confidence that this collaboration would help create a stimulating environment for creative students within the university.
For his part, Mr. Bayousef presented the foundation’s vision for cooperation with the university, noting that the coming period will witness the launch of educational and training projects aimed at enhancing media awareness and equipping students with essential professional tools and competencies.
In the same context, Mr. Baqi enriched the discussion by highlighting students’ training needs and affirming the Media Club’s readiness to serve as an effective link in implementing these initiatives on the ground in a manner that meets the aspirations of students across the university’s various faculties.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to outline the general framework for future cooperation mechanisms, paving the way for the launch of several joint activities expected to bring about a qualitative development in student media activities at Hadhramout University.
