Dr. Ali Muhammad Baabad, Deputy Dean of the Environmental Sciences and Marine Biology Faculty at Hadhramout University, welcomed Eng. Muhammad bin Thabit from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). He provided a brief overview of the faculty and presented some scientific and developmental proposals and projects with an agricultural focus, including animal and plant aspects. He also introduced several scholars and researchers in fisheries, environmental studies, and food technology fields.
Eng. Muhammad bin Thabit presented the activities of the organization and their readiness to contribute and participate in implementing a scientific and educational event targeting a large segment of the community, including students. The visit concluded with a tour of the experimental fish farming facility located within the faculty campus.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmed Eidhah bin Ali Al-Haj, the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs; Dr. Nada Sheikh Mulla Al-Dawila, the Head of the Environmental Sciences Department; Dr. Jaafar Omar Baamer, the Head of the Marine Biology Department, and Dr. Ahmed Ali Balqadi, a staff member in the Marine Biology Department.
