Faculty Library
The Faculty has a public library that is shared with other Faculties in Fuwa complex. The library is one of the most important components to develop the educational process in the Faculty . The educational role of libraries is summed up in providing knowledge sources and information, supporting courses and applying researches as well as developing reading, skills and abilities which help to enhance learning. In the University level, libraries play a vital role in the promotion of education and scientific research as they actively participate in the core of the educational process and they are a basic pillar in the academic organization as a whole. Scientific books are key components to develop the educational process in the scientific departments of the Faculty . Therefore, the library is one of the necessities to develop the educational process in the Faculty .
Since the establishment of the College, the Deanships have been providing the Faculty students and teaching staff with specialized scientific course books. Through the past years, a number of scientific books were provided to meet the minimum of requirements of the courses. The Deanship of the Faculty seeks annually to provide the library with recent published books and provisions. Currently, there are more than 3000 books in the fields of environmental sciences, marine biology, food and fish technology. There are also more than 300 scientific periodicals and more than 20 printed academic theses. The College Deanship also strives to provide valuable books and periodicals that are purchased from international book fairs inside or outside Yemen.
• The College library is shared by three departments (the Department of Environmental Sciences, the Department of Marine Biology, and the Department of Food & Fish Technology) and has the following statistics of various scientific books and periodicals:

- The books available in Arabic language are 1611.
- The books available in other languages are 1330.
- The periodicals available in Arabic are 277.
- The periodicals available in other languages are 16.
- The printed academic theses are 13.
