The Center for Environmental Studies and Water Resources at the University of Hadhramout participated in the virtual meeting for the launch of the Arab Universities Knowledge Network on Climate Change and Carbon Footprint, held via Zoom on Monday from the Jordanian capital, Amman. This network operates under the Association of Arab Universities and is headquartered at Abu Dhabi University.
This network represents a strategic initiative aimed at unifying the efforts of Arab universities and other institutions to address the challenges of climate change through knowledge exchange and collaborative research.
Representing the University of Hadhramout in the meeting was Prof. Khalid Saleh Bawahidi, Director of the Center for Environmental Studies and Water Resources, alongside more than 40 academics from various Arab universities and research institutions.
