Congratulation on this gathering, which is a warm reception and a good tradition, held by the Deputyship for Higher Studies, represented with a team which is in harmony with an image shown good management and success rate. The Deputyship for higher studies held in Al –Ghalilah campus in HU university an expanded meeting for newly enrolled students for the academic year 2020-2021 in various disciplines which reach 188 male and female student.
This meeting aimed to clarify the regulations of the Deputyship for higher studies and scientific research:
Heading to the meeting, Pro. Dr. Hadi Salim Al-Saban, acting vice president of the University for higher studies and scientific research, indicated that this welcome meeting held annually by the Deputyship for higher studies to clarify the regulations of higher studies and the guidelines of writing scientific theses, and how students join the English Language Competence Program.
He continued reviewing some basic regulations and conditions that students must adhere according to the calendar, indicating to the disciplines that students enrolled in them as following: chemistry, life sciences, teaching methodology, family medicine, business administration, banking and financial sciences, interpretation and science of Quran, Hadith and Sunnah sciences, paying attention to the PhD program in educational administration, which is the first PhD program launched in HU university.
He also clarified to higher education students a mechanism of launching programs and awarding degrees in various disciplines according to the academic calendar and how students select their research topic, supervisors and examiners in various Faculties.
For the importance of this meeting, a number of deans, their deputies, heads of departments and faculty members in Fuwah and Al-Agalilah attended such as Pro. Dr. Raed Bathan, Dean of the Science Faculty, Dr. Mohammed Balhowisal, Dean of the Administrative sciences and Dr. Saeed Salimeen Baefeer, Dean of the Education Faculty-Mukkala and Mr. Yaser Ahmed Ba’abad, Director General of the admission and registration at the Deputyship for higher studies and scientific research.
Indeed, it was a friendly meeting, the Deputyship for higher studies and scientific research opened its hands for a new batch of the master’s and doctoral students, in a moment of predicting a better future full of prosperity, if Allah wills, and a new beginning of a new academic year full of scientific achievements to increasingly translated into action the slogan of serving the community through university outcomes.
