Amal Ahmed Abden Holds The Master’s Degree in Arabic Language at Faculty of Arts at Hadhramout University

In the Discussion Hall at the Faculty of Arts, a public defence session held for discussing the master’s thesis by the researcher, Amal Ahmed Awad Abden, submitted to the Department of Arabic Language at the Faculty of Arts at the Fuwa Faculties Complex entitled with (Intertextuality in the novel of the Red Rebel by Bakathir).

the Examination Committee consisted of:

Associate Professor Dr. Abdul Qader Ali Baesa/  Chair and Internal Examiner.

Associate Professor Dr. Taha Hussein Al-Hadrami/ Supervisor and Member.

Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Al-Aidarous/ External Examiner- Seyun University.

This thesis consisted of three chapters, and dealt with historical, religious, and ideological intertextuality in the novel of the Red Rebel by Ali Ahmed Bakathir. The study revealed through the manifestation of  intertextuality that Bakatheer applied historical, religious and ideological intertextuality  according to the  approach of intertextuality, which is capable of analysing and studying texts.

The Examination committee commended effort made by the researcher in conducting her research, and recommended some amendments to the thesis. It also approved granting the researcher Amal Ahmed Awad Abdan the master’s degree from the Department of Arabic Language, the Faculty of Arts, Hadhramout University.

The defence session was attended by: Prof. Dr. Abdullah Saleh Babaer, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Salim Mubarak Al-Obthani, Vice President for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hadi Salim Al-Sabban, Vice President the Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Barshid, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Dr. Khalid bin Mukhashin, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Hassan Al-Fadhli, Deputy Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Segh, Head of the  Department of Arabic Language, and Prof. Mubarak Bo-monther, Vice Dean of the Student Affairs, and a number of heads of scientific departments, faculty members, students, researchers, and the researcher’s family and relatives.
