Under the supervision of the Ministry Office of Social Affairs & Labor, Hadhramout Coast, Prof. Salem Mubarak Al-Obthani, HU President’s Deputy for Student Affairs, launched elections of University Student Union for colleges of Computers & IT, and Law at Future Colleges Complex.
” This event is considered a democratic achievement in which a new leadership for the Union, one of the main components of our University, is elected.”, said Prof. Al-Obthani. He also urged students to give a hand to the new elected leaders in order to achieve students’ demands, and to carry out their duties effectively.
Awsan Mohammed Ba-husain, Deputy Director General of the Ministry Office, expressed her thanks to the student election committees and HU supervision committee for their follow-up and contribution to insure a smooth election process. She concluded by wishing students all the best.
Ahmed Awad Bajbeer, Head of the General Student Union, said that the first stage of the election process includes 13 colleges, is launched, pointing out the secrecy, security and validity of the voting process.
