Under the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Educational Affairs, Prof. Khaled Baslem said: Our presence today is a strengthening of the Hadhramaut University , a recognition of its status, its advancement and its ability to host such a scientific event, which will have its dimensions in our reality.
Prof. Abdullah Ayedha Bhashwan, Director of the Centre for Academic Development and Quality Assurance/HU, said: Today, HU is launching the first International Conference on Computing and Smart Engineering with the participation of IEEE, an international organization accredited to scientific research. We hope that these joint scientific conferences will continue in all scientific disciplines.
Dr. Abdeslam Suleiman Al – Hadabi, Imran University, presented a paper on the use of the Internet by teachers and the extent to which capacity development benefits. He was pleased to attend the 1st ICOICE, hosted by the Engineering & Petroleum college, praising the good organization and preparation.
Dr. Majdi Salem Marahi Engineering college and member of the Organizing Committee noted that this conference came after coordination between HU and the Research Group of Yemeni Scientists in various countries of the world to exchange experiences through conferences and symposiums and the IEEE Institute. The Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers (IEEE), based in America and approved at HU, has been invited to receive research from within and outside. Demand has been high, with some 300 papers, registered by international standards, being received by the competent committees. After arbitration and compliance, more than 60 papers are held.
Eng. Shatha Omar Khenberi from University of Aden presented a paper on breast cancer, expressing her happiness at participating in the scientific mutary, and her regret at the lack of discussion time, which prevents the researcher from relaying, but concluded that time control is evidence of the adequacy of the organizers of the conference.
Dr. Amer Badr Bin Murrah, Dean of Engineering college/HU, counted the conference at the College, named the College’s chest, honored the University and opened a window of hope for an upcoming development of the various departments of the College.
Dr. Aisha Al – Absi, from the Engineering college/ Taiz University, wished HU further progress and said she was happy to visit and participate in this international scientific forum on computing and smart engineering.
