Hadhramout University (HU) delegation headed by its President, Pro. Mohamed S. Khanbash, paid a visit to Russian universities and scientific institutions from 20-30 September, 2019.
The visit was made upon HU interest in developing a real partnership and opening new vistas of joint cooperation with the Russian universities and scientific institutions which go in line with HU vision, mission, and aspiration to be distinctive in learning outcomes, research and community development.
Prof. Khanbash and the accompanying delegation visited Moscow Academy of Maritime Transport, Moscow State University, St. Petersburg State Pediatric University, Moscow First State Medical University, Creative Academy (Educational Innovation Center) and Penza State University.
They discussed ways of cooperation in the fields of scientific research, increasing production and scientific dissemination of HU staff members, organizing international scientific conferences, exchange of scientific experiences and students' traineeships. In addition to recruit Russian doctors to work in the University Hospital and Family Medicine Center, and Russian professors to teach at HU. They also discussed the possibility of opening the department of Russian Language within the Institute of Languages to be established at HU.
The visit culminated in the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the universities to pursue avenues of collaboration that will benefit all.
