The Rafad Volunteer Team at Women’s College Implemented A ( Moknah ) event for Physical Disabilities

Moknah event was held at Women's College Yard and opened by Dr. Naglaa Abdullah Ateeq, deputy Dean of the Women's College /HU, and said that the message that the college sends to the community by holding a (Makanah) event, which was implemented by the Rafad Volunteer Team and the Community Service Department at the college, In cooperation with Al-Tomoh Association for the Care and Rehabilitation of the Physically disability in Mukalla on Thursday, "they are part of us, We have to take care of them and benefit from their creativity and integrate them into society".

The  event was consistent with the objectives of the Community Service Department and the College. which contained a number of corners of fine arts, drawing, books, food dishes  and games, in the presence of the director and students of the association, mothers and students.

Wadad Ahmed Al-Mashjari, the team leader, said that this event comes as an expression of loyalty and support for this association, which has the responsibility to help people with disabilities with learning and creativity. As well as a number of students expressed their happiness of the event, which they considered as the beginning of another series of activities that will be held by the Rafad team and the Community Service Department at the College .

It should be noted that Al-Tomoh Association for the Care and Rehabilitation of the Physically disability in Mukalla – According to a brochure distributed in the event –  its the first associations that sponsor the rights of women with disabilities were established in Hadhramaut in 2003, at the request of a majority of women members of the Association, in the category of women with disabilities, in order to achieve their presence in society. They look forward to take care of the Physically disability education, open classes for them so that they can complete their studies until university, encourage them to participate in society and provide all kinds of support to this group.
