An agreement was signed between the University’s Family Medicine Center and Haya Alyahya Eye Specialist Hospital/ Mukalla which is one of Al-Basr International Foundation Hospitals, in the presence of Dr. Muhammad Saeed Khanbash; President of Hadhramout University.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Muhammad Karama Badawi; Medical Director of Al-Basr International Foundation, and Mr. Abdulrahman Bashaib; Deputy Director- General of the Family Medicine Center at the university.
This agreement aims to operate the eye clinic at the Family Medicine Center, to provide eye care services, while the surgical operations should be done in Haya Al Yahya Hospital in Mukalla, through the medical camps. In addition, the clinic should open twice a week; to alleviate the suffering of patients, and provide them with medical and treatment services, especially the people living in Fuwa and in the west of Mukalla. This contributes to providing quality services to patients in the field of ophthalmology and optics during the coming period.
This agreement comes within the framework of the integrative partnership between the Family Medicine Center at Hadhramout University, the relevant authorities, health institutions and civil society organizations, within the university’s service to the community.
The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Ali Saleh Al-Kaldi; Deputy Director- General of Haya Alyahya Eye Specialist Hospital/ Mukalla, and Prof. Ahmed Zain Bahmaid, General Director of the University’s Media Department.
