Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Bamatraf; Dean of Computers and IT college, gave a lecture at the 7th International Conference on Software Engineering and Computer Systems (ICSECS), and the 4th International Conference on Computer Science and Information Management ICoCSIM 2021, among the international speakers, entitled: (The application of institutional planning systems in the public sector – challenges and opportunities – Hadhramout digital project as a case study).
In the presence of HU president; Prof. Mohammed Saeed Khanbash, his deputies Prof. Abdullah Saleh Babair; for academic affairs, Prof. Hadi Salem Al-Sabban; for postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Abdullah Alawi Aideed; the Secretary-General of the University, Dr. Salem Faraj Bamasoud; Director of the Scientific Research, and a number of interested persons, in Ali Ahmed Bakatheer Hall at the University Presidency,
He pointed out the meaning of the institutional planning systems as a modern and demanding trend for the economic development of countries, and the challenges faced by government sectors in general in implementing these systems. He spoke about Hadhramout governorate as an introduction to presenting a model represented in the governorate's databases as a case study and a unique model in light of the crisis the country is going through.
During the lecture, Dr. Mohammed also reviewed the mechanisms and plans of the work, and concluded his lecture by speaking about the difficulties and opportunities that their mechanisms will be contained through developing this project. He also reviewed at the same time the role of scientific research and technical education institutions in this field.
