Prof. Abdullah Saleh Babair; Vice President for the Academic Affairs and Prof. Hadi Salem Al-Sabban; Acting Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research launched the entrance examination for admission to M.A and PhD programs in the specialization of Religions and Ideology in Islamic Studies Department and Journalism and Media in Journalism Department at Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
The number of the students is about 22 in religions and ideology specialization and 26 in Media and Journalism specialization.
Prof. Hadi Salem Al-Sabban pointed out that these new specializations were inaugurated for the first time at the university within the plan of the postgraduate studies deputyship to develop the academic and scientific programs in various departments. He called on the students to exert more effort and diligence to obtain academic seats, wishing them success in continuing their postgraduate studies at the university.
It was attended by Mr. Yasser Ahmed Ba-Abbad; General Director of the Admission and Registration Department at Postgraduate Studies and scientific research and Mr. Ahmed Zain Bahmaid; General Director of Media Department at the university.
