Prof. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash, the President of Hadhramout University, met with the Access to Justice Team affiliated with the United Nations Development Program, headed by the Project Manager, Mr. Im Won Hyuk, at the University Presidency in Mukalla.
During the meeting, the university president provided a brief overview of the university, its establishment, and the implemented activities, programs, and events. He also highlighted the activities of the Center for Women’s Studies at Hadhramout University, its plans, and existing partnerships. In addition, he gave an overview of the Open Education Faculty and the university’s role in promoting and encouraging girls to complete their higher education through the open education centers in various regions and districts.
Furthermore, the team visited the Open Education Faculty at the Future Colleges Complex to get acquainted with its activities and challenges. The Project Manager of the program praised the activities and programs implemented by Hadhramout University and its commitment to women’s issues.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Abdullah Al-Ajily, the Project Coordinator, Ms. Iman Mohammed, the Project Officer, and Ms. Nada Ali, the Project Assistant.
