Prof. Salem Mubarak Al-Obathani, Vice President of the University for Student Affairs, and Dr. Abdullah Al-Hanshi, Dean of the Nursing Faculty, launched the admission exams for the new academic year 2024-2025.
They toured the examination halls, observing their progress and encouraging students to exert more effort and diligence to compete for the available seats.
The Vice President of Hadhramout University praised the efforts made by the Dean of the Nursing College, as well as the deans of other colleges, in organizing and coordinating the examination halls. He also commended the role of the examination committees in adhering to the electronic system in setting questions and correcting model answers, which contributes to the success of the examination process. He pointed out that more than three thousand applicants have applied for these exams to compete for admission to the scientific specializations offered by the university in its various colleges. He indicated that the university deals with 6,360 exam opportunities in Student Affairs, which are the registered desires of the applicants that allow applicants one chance in four desires, to be accepted in one of these desires. Each desire represents a scientific specialization.” He affirmed that the Student Affairs at the university supports the colleges to overcome all difficulties and provide all necessary facilities to improve and develop the educational and academic process in the university’s colleges. He wished the students who applied success in their university studies.
It is worth mentioning that the admission exams for the new academic year 2024-2025 in the other colleges of the university will continue on schedule according to the program of each college during the coming days.
The launch was attended by Mr. Salem Mohammed bin Salman, Assistant Vice President of the University for Student Affairs, Dr. Yahya Al-Moallem, Deputy Dean of the Nursing faculty, and Mr. Abdullah bin Thaleb, General Director of Admission and Registration for Student Affairs at the university.
