Hadhramout University will tomorrow host the closing ceremony of the first Entrepreneurship and Innovation Hackathon, held under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash, the University President.
The closing event will include honoring the supporting entities that contributed to the success of the activities, as well as recognizing the top entrepreneurial projects that achieved the highest rankings in the competition. The competition featured the presentation of approximately 40 entrepreneurial projects and 50 productive units.
It is worth noting that the Hackathon, inaugurated by former Hadhramout Governor, Mr. Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi, and held from 20 to 26 November 2025, included a series of accompanying activities. These comprised specialized lectures such as the Artificial Intelligence for Entrepreneurs seminar, the scientific seminar on the Legal Framework for Anti–Money Laundering, and a workshop on assessing the current state of commercial records for small enterprises. The event aimed to transform students’ and graduates’ ideas into tangible projects and link them to the labor and investment markets.
