In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

All praise is due to Allah, Lord of all worlds, and peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and companions.

Distinguished guests,
Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.

I am pleased to welcome you to this celebration by Hadhramout University. We gather to mark the conclusion of the Fifteenth University Student Week.

This student festival was not merely a series of activities; rather, it was a true reflection of your awareness, a broad arena that showcased your talents, and a platform affirming that Hadhramout University is not only a place for lectures and classrooms, but also an incubator for student activities, a space for creativity, and a dynamic environment for nurturing talents.

We have followed with pride and admiration the scientific sessions of the Eleventh Student Scientific Conference, along with the high-quality research presented by participants. We have witnessed the confidence that distinguished you, the strong spirit of competition evident in the scientific and cultural contests, as well as the sportsmanship displayed on the playing fields. What we have seen of creativity and innovation reaffirms that we are moving in the right direction toward linking educational outcomes with development needs and building a knowledge-based society.

My dear students,
This week marks not an end, but a beginning. The challenges facing our nation require you not to rely solely on academic degrees, but to equip yourselves with skills, creativity, and a strong spirit of initiative.

At the University administration, we firmly believe that you are the true wealth of this institution. The supportive environment for innovation and entrepreneurship that we strive to provide is, in essence, an investment in your future—a future we are confident will be bright through your determination and efforts.

Esteemed audience,
Before concluding, I would like to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to Mr. Salem Ahmed Al-Khanbashi, Member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Hadhramaut Governorate, for his generous patronage of this ceremony and his ongoing support for the University and its activities. I would also like to extend my thanks to Mr. Hassan Salem Al-Jilani, Deputy Governor, for his presence and support.

My gratitude also extends to the Vice Presidency for Student Affairs, as well as to all organizing committees, faculty members, and partners who contributed to the success of this week’s activities. Special thanks are due to you, dear students, for through you and with you, the University flourishes and prospers.

In closing, I extend my heartfelt appreciation to all of you, our honored guests, for gracing this ceremony with your presence, adding beauty upon beauty and light upon light.

Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.
