Call for Applications for Hadhramaut University Students for a Student Exchange Opportunity at the Italian LUM University

Hadhramaut University announces an international student exchange opportunity for its students as part of the COMMO XI (KA171) project, coordinated by the Union of Mediterranean Universities (UNIMED) and funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ KA171 program, with the aim of strengthening academic and research cooperation and providing opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to gain international academic and research experience.

The opportunity available to Hadhramaut University consists of a student exchange scholarship at the Italian LUM University (Università LUM), which allows the selected student to spend a study or research period in Italy in accordance with the approved terms and criteria.

Eligible Majors

This opportunity is open to Hadhramaut University students in the following majors:

1. Business Administration and Management.
2. Finance, Banking, and Insurance.
3. Biology.
4. Chemistry.
5. Information and Communication Technology.
6. Computer Science.
7. Medicine.

Financial and Academic Benefits

• Financial support of 900 euros per month during the exchange period.
• A financial contribution toward travel costs, based on the distance specified in the Erasmus+ program.
• An academic exchange period ranging from two to six months, depending on the nature of the academic or research activity.
• An opportunity to study, conduct research, and gain experience in an international university environment.
• The possibility of academic recognition of the exchange period in accordance with approved agreements and procedures.

Application Conditions and Requirements

Applicants must be currently enrolled students at Hadhramaut University in one of the eligible majors and must submit the following documents:

• The program’s application form (Link to the form).
• A recent resume not exceeding four pages.
• A copy of a valid passport.
• Proof of English proficiency at a level not lower than B2.
• Transcript showing grades, academic GPA, and earned credit hours.
• Proof of university enrollment.
• Learning Agreement (Link to the agreement).
• A research proposal description (for graduate students).
• Privacy consent form (Link to the form).

All documents must be compiled into a single PDF file in accordance with the program’s official instructions.
