H.E. Salem Al-Khanbashi, Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, expressed his pleasure at participating in Hadhramout University’s celebration marking the 70th Anniversary of Yemeni-Chinese Relations, during a speech delivered via Zoom at the inauguration of the commemorative activities.

Al-Khanbashi highlighted the deep historical roots of relations between Yemen and China, noting that ties between the two nations date back to the second century CE. He emphasized Yemen’s pivotal role in fostering these relations through commercial, cultural, and civilizational exchange over the centuries.

He further stated that China has implemented numerous vital development projects across a wide range of sectors in Yemen, underscoring the significant contributions these initiatives have made to the country’s development and the strengthening of bilateral cooperation between the two friendly nations.
