The Selah Development Foundation honored the leadership of Hadhramout University and its entire academic community in recognition of the University’s latest academic achievement, securing second place among Yemeni universities in the QS rankings.

During the ceremony, Mr. Ali Bashamakh, Executive Director of the Silah Development Foundation, presented a commemorative shield to Prof. Mohamed Khanbash, President of Hadhramout University, in appreciation of the University’s leadership, faculty members, and staff for their efforts in advancing academic quality and strengthening research and educational excellence.

Speaking at the event, Bashamakh congratulated the University on this accomplishment, describing it as a reflection of Hadhramout University’s growing academic stature and its ongoing commitment to development and quality enhancement. He also emphasized the Foundation’s pride in its partnership with the University and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting educational advancement in Hadhramout.

For his part, Prof. Khanbash expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Silah Development Foundation for this thoughtful gesture. He noted that such recognition serves as a strong motivation for the University to continue striving for higher levels of achievement and excellence in both academic and research fields.

The ceremony was attended by Salem Aboud Bamusallam, Director of the Education Sector, and Mohammed Abdullah Bin Sallam, Specialist for the Nahdat Watan Graduate Scholarship Program.

This recognition highlights the strong collaboration between educational institutions and development organizations in supporting academic excellence and encouraging continuous progress in higher education and scientific research.
