Prof. Atef Al-Tamimi, Dean of the Open Learning Faculty at Hadhramout University, met this morning with Mr. Saeed Yamani Al-Jabri, Director General of Sah District, to discuss opportunities for strengthening cooperation and expanding partnership in the field of higher education.

During the meeting, Prof. Al-Tamimi reviewed the Faculty’s experience, academic programs, and diverse specializations, as well as its ongoing efforts to enhance the educational process and keep pace with the requirements of digital transformation. He emphasized the important role of open learning in expanding access to higher education for various segments of society, particularly in districts and remote areas located far from university campuses.

Prof. Al-Tamimi also expressed his appreciation for the visit, commending the Director General’s interest in higher education and his commitment to fostering collaboration with Hadhramout University.

The meeting underscored the importance of strengthening coordination among academic institutions, local authorities, and the private sector in ways that support community development, promote education, and contribute to capacity building.

The meeting, which was held at the Faculty, was attended by Mr. Abdulaziz Mohammed Bafadhel, Public Relations Coordinator at PetroMasila Company.
