Hadhramout University Announces the Theatrical Competition Among Its Faculties

The Student Affairs Deputyship at Hadhramout University, in collaboration with the Hadhramout Culture Foundation, announces the Student Theater and Arts Club will organize a competition for all the faculties of Hadhramout University as part of the competitive competitions among universities in Hadhramout, both in the coastal and valley districts. The competition will cover the following categories:

1. Theatrical performances

2. Theatrical scripts

3. Theatrical directing

💰 Prizes:

1️- Best Performance: SAR 3,000.

2️- Best Director: SAR 1,500.

3️- Best Script: SAR 1,000.

🟥 Competition Requirements:

1. Theatrical performances (15-25 minutes).

2. The participants in the theatrical performance must be enrolled students at HU.

3. 3-15 actors per performance.

4. No Political content.

5. Clean up performance materials immediately after the performance.

6. Faculties interested in participating in this competition can form one or more teams in the mentioned categories from the participating faculties at Hadhramout University.

 7. HU winning faculty will compete against Seiyun University winner

 8. The winning performances will be broadcasted on Hadhramout Channel

Registration Process:

🟥 Register through the Deputies of Student Affairs, the General Administration of Student Activities, and Student Theater & Arts Club Administrative Board (WhatsApp: 778449819).

Auditions will be held after registration under expert supervision.

⏲️ The deadline for registering is Sunday, February 11, 2024.

📅 The show starts April 25th – May 3rd , 2024.
